Dr. Andrea Volk DipECVD graduated from University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in 2002. She then spend two years in research in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the lab of Prof. Kietzmann. After finishing her Dr. med. vet,. she first went into general practice in the UK, then do a general practice lectureship for the RVC followed by a residency in Dermatology at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). In 2014, she was awarded the diploma of ECVD. After working at the RVC and at a private referral hospital, Davies Veterinary Specialists, she moved back to Germany in 2019 where she now leads the dermatology service at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. She is known by her students to be absolutely passionate for Dermatology and for being an inspirational teacher.
